Unlocking 703sh - GSM-Forum

Hey everyone, I have a 703sh that is locked to Vodafone UK, when I put a sim card in it says SIM-MEP, which I know is a network lock. I know there are many thread with this topic, but for some reason there never really is a clean answer. I am looking for the cheap way in getting this done.

Any recommendations? I would like to get a cruiser cable for cheaper than what's on ebay if there is any other place out there, and what software would I need as well as instructions.
