Unlocking Gx25 Cant Open Com Port - GSM-Forum

I AM USING THE DESTROYER TO UNLOCK THE SHARP GX25 , IT IS FULLY INSTALLED OK , BEFORE I RUN THE PROGRAM I PLUG IN MY USB CABLE , SIM CARD IN AND POWER ON THE PHONE , GO TO DEVICE MANAGER TO CHECK WHICH COM TO USE AND IT STATES ITS COM12 , SO I RETURN TO THE PROGRAM , START IT UP AND SELECT SHARP THEN SELECT MODEL GX25/GX15 , THEN SELECT COM12 AND PRESS UNLOCK , AND IT SAYS "UNABLE TO OPEN COMPORT" AND NOTHING HAPPENS , I HAVE CHECKED EVERYTHING IS ENABLED IN MY HARDWARE , CAN ANYONE HELP !!!

Look at drivers in windows if it is correctly installed, if you have com12 so in the soft you can see com12. If all is ok about port com, and windows detect the phone when you plug it in so the it's destroyer pb : solution : use redbox or another free soft if exist.

thanks , i have tried other free dowloads from this site but i still get no joy , i know it is installed ok i have installed software many times , i have just ordered the redbox 2 , , when i plug in the data cable my computer chimes to say its plugged in so i know its installed and when i open device manager and check comports sharpe usb devices is set to com 12 the only other thing i am going to try is manually change the com setting to com 3 and then test it ,

it will be same result wathever you set port com 1, 2, 3...etc
try in another pc. Does redbox say : "unable to open port com" too ?, if yes, try to disable everything using command : msconfig by Start, Run
then restart pc and try without open internet, firewall,....etc, just open the soft and try

thanks , but the owner of the phone got a bit impatient and took it else where because i don't get the redbox till this week so when i get another i will try your plan , i no have the destroyer tool , i hate it when i fail , i don't like to be beat sometimes , not all perfect i suppose , thanks again

install driver for GX15 and all will be OK.
