MOBILedit! works in the Lite mode after download. You can make it fully functional by purchasing and entering the Activation Key. The Lite version is time unlimited and provides phone data viewing, backup, file transfer, sending text messages and internet updates.

The Lite version has the following limitations: phone content is generally read-only with a few exceptions; outgoing SMS will include "Sent by MOBILedit!"; limit of five dials with each program launch; one file download limit with each program launch; ringtones can be edited and saved to disk but only one ringtone can be written to phone with each program launch; videos can be edited and saved to disk but not to phone; mBoox cannot be written to phone. All these functions are available after purchase of any license.

Perhaps our most exciting new function is the Intelligent Phonebook Optimizer.
