Member: 3195 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Help !!! R210E killed by flashing!!! Can anyone help me? I tried to flash Samsung R210E fith old version of TDNM flasher (where you need to choose the flash IC type). I didn't select the type (just left it "None") and after loading boot program said something about mismatch. And now phone don't power on anymore and don't want to connect to flasher :-( It's starange 'cos software didn't write anything about erasing flash but it seems that first sectors of flash were erased. One guy told me few months ago that Samsung phones have boot part in processor, not in the flash IC. Probably he was wrong... So can anyone give me an advice on reviving this ****? Member: 3195 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Man, I already told that I tried to flash it with correct software (ToolBox V.4.3) that doesn't need selecting the right flash type. I also used the software with which one I killed this phone and setup the correct type of flash (I desoldered the phone and checked the exact type that is inside). But both these softwares can't even send the preloader !!! :-( Can you proove that boot code isn't in the flash of the phone, so that if even the flash was erased, I'll be able to connect the phone to flasher (need only to patch my hands :-) )? Or it's just the waste of time? Regards, Andrew AKA StRyKeR |

I just had to connect my cable AFTER pushing "write" button. :-) Hands are patched for future :-) Now I have to find my favourite downloader :-) If anyone has standalone flashing software for Samsung (don't remember exatly version, something like 0.7x) please send it to me!!!
