R210s dead --> burned smd


Howdie,

I heave already a couple of samsung r210s witch heave a burned i think voltage regulator. at the back side of the pcb above the system connecter there are 3 chips with E61 on it. Is this a known problem? can i just replace them and will the phone then work again??

Manny thank to who know some answers on these questions.

It's result of plugging charger from LG to Samsung usually. E61 is not voltage regulator. Foltage/current regulator is LTC1734ES6 ("TRG" label on IC). You can use phone without E61 (if You don't need to program phone or use handsfree in future).
