Samsung A877 frozen - GSM-Forum

Hello everybody. I recently got gifted a samsung a877 that was used in at&t. The person who gave it to me said they tried to unlock but that they couldn't do it but if i had the time i could figure it out. I got the IMEI from the back of the cellphone and was given the unlock code: Imei: 35701103xxxxx Code: ******** When i went to put it in and thought it worked the phone tell me "the phone is phone freeze" "desactivate code unsuccessful" The second part not 100% sure of what it said it was pretty quick. Reading around the forum I imagine that they tried more than 3 times and unlock the phone... So now that i have this frozen phone i was wondering if anybody could help. (By the way the IMEI code given to me by the cellphone has two more numbers in it so it would be 35701103xxxxx03 but I imagine that the one underneath the battery is the sure way to go.) So if anybody could tell me a way. I also installed "Samsung 3G Easy Unlocker Online Code Reader (v2.54).exe" but it saids "dongle not found" which i have no idea what it means.

So please help. pleaseeee

you must unfreeze it by factory code or unlock it by box, ex : UST box, NS pro Box, Z3x box

Ok... how can i get the factory code? And what is a "box" and what do I do with it.

Looking through google i can see what the "boxes" do, Knowing it is impossible for me to get a box how would i get around finding the factory code.

The IMEI is 357011035510409, sorry about the ¨x¨ just that i copied and pasted from the email they sent me with the codes.
