Sofware A800 doesn't connect Datacable! - GSM-Forum

The big problem is that I have a datacable for the SGHA800 and the sofware downloaded from the Samsung site (Easylink), The problem is now... He can't connect the phone with the computer. Does anyone know what the problem is? Please help me!

I am having the exact same problem, I have tried it on 2 different computers, but no success.

I tried to connect with the phone turned on and turned off.
I tried plugging and unplugging the COM port cable, tried everything. And still no success.

I am using the data download cable, I think I read some where it can only connect with the Easy Link Cable only... aren't they the same cable that comes with T100/T108??

Help needed

Try to connect with V200 original cable.
Anyone know the good link for EASYLINK 2.0.0?

you try connect by datacable T100, work good !

i live in india. here a800 is not launched yet. can i use n620/500 or r 220 cable instead for a800 easylink.
or if there is anyother way?

I have tried it with the Samsung T100 cable but then theres the problem that your A800 goes dead with the flashing thing. So, that isn't such a good idea!
