Strange problem on A300

I got A300, that doesn't power on. Phone is not broked, not fallen into water. But when I unsoldered eeprom IC, it powered on!!!!
I tried to place another eeprom chip from other working A300, but it doesn't worked.
I unsoldered eeprom, and phone is working, charging, even calling and receiving calls!!!
I can't only write into phone memory phonebook.
Eeprom is Atmel, 32 kb. I cloned eeprom from another A300 into Ericsson's T28 eeprom IC, but it didn't worked all the same.
what could be a problem to this strange problem??

Strange problem? try another IC - may-be your chip from Ericsson is hardware broken? Or reflash phone with this dump.

1 make sure pin 1 is the right way round ..
2 check for components that may have moved causing a short
3 check the solder pads for the errpom are still there
