| E530 firmware question pls help Hi there Everyone, I am from Australia and I bought this E530 C for my wife during a trip to Hong Kong but it does not include some girly applications so called "womens life apps" My wife really wanted this phone for those apps, so I rung up Samsung and they said i could take it to a repair center and have it upgraded to the firmware that includes those applications for $38.50. When i took there, the techinician said he can't do it because its an asian phone and if he tried to upgrade to the australian firmware that includes the apps, the phone would go crazy and the screen would stop working. What do you experts think, Is that true? I think the firmware that includes those apps is for the E530 but i dont know the difference between those 2 models. Has anyone attempted this kind of upgrade from E530C to E530? Is it possible? Thank you very much for your help |

| E530C to E530 E530C is an Asian Model, So, its memory size is somewhat bigger than E530. you can upgrade or change E530C to E530..right, But NOT E530 to E530C. To change or upgrade E530C to E530, you'll have to download the software of E530 into the phone and erase any unused flash memory regions..this is an option in the downloading process.
