S400i - Rebuild IMEI etc. - GSM-Forum

Hi,

We have this phone S400i here, we have a working TST, SUS and other freebies soft.

I can unlock this phone fine - by selecting C200 in any soft, or in TST by selecting S400i and using the E860 cable (same for E770, X660 and E860)

Unlocking is fine - no problems at all, but when it comes to rebuilding IMEI it just wont work, I tried as a C200 in SUS becuase SUS doesn't have S400i listed but it didnt work - it fails during the reset NVM area part etc.

When trying under TST, I choose s400i from drop down box, then proceed to entering its correct imei etc and then the s/w does exactly the same as SUS.

I did have a word with PaWaa (the SUS author) and he said that choosing an C200 would work for unlocking, but not for IMEI change or rebuild as the phone id's are different, he said if we could find the INI files from WinIMEI or the samsung service s/w then it should be possible to integrate them into SUS or any other Agere soft that uses INI files for the phone selections.

If anyone has the INI file creator or can shed anymore light on this - it would be great, the S400i is a new phone and is becomming popular becuase its not expensive at all, so guy's we need some sort of support from someone so we can get this model fully supported for all operations.

Test with S410i maybe.
I've tested for unlock a S400i that's work but not test for rebuild Imei.

Got 2x S400i here with imei 00000000000000 - *** knows how its happened, the customer brought them to us and said he had been trying to unlock them lol - so we bought them cheap - brand new condition with box etc, just waiting to rebuild the NVM area now

Angello - please read my original post, I have unlocked these phones via C200 option under Agere platform, but any other feature wont work, only the unlocking procedure is same.

So S410i has been tested and doesnt work either.

I use SUS to change X200 imei but had same problem . Could you add X200 to SUS update ?

i try to rebuild IMEI of S400i with sus updat without sucess!!
can unlock and read phone info but not repair imei!!
