My son's friend has put in some kind of code in his phone and now the sim he was using is asking for a PUK code and when i switch sims the phone says sim lock enter password does anyone have any ideas what i should and is there a code i can just put in ?

You have locked your SIM card, not your phone.
to unlock it you must ask your suplier.
nothing to do with phone.

contact your service provider and
tell your service provider you need a sim replacement
or sim swop

it has to be the phone as when i put another sim in (tried 4 other sims) it comes up with the sim lock enter password reguardless of which sim i put in (phone is provider unlocked)

custom eeprom reset - *2767*2878#
full eeprom reset - *2767*3855#

*note -use custom eeprom reset first , if not successful then use full eeprom reset[/glow]
