I have a samsung E 700.ehen i want to make a photo I see PREVIW error.What do you think it is software problem and i can flash my phone or is hardware problem.

I think it's sw problem !!!!
too many lcd and flat cable tested .Same prob.
Any idea ?

First Check your LCD ribbon try to change it
If the prob is same then flash with any New Firmware

replace flex-cabel same problem with V200

If all of you think it's a ribbon cable or connector how can you explain the fact that all of those ' preview errors' come when the phone is open and when you try the phone closed preview works and you can even take a picture???

Any other ideas?

- I changed camera with working one no difference
- Reflash the phone - no difference
- Try different board with same lcd and cammera no difference

He,he...you explained all with this

When you open flip,cable have broken camera lines,when you almost close flip,broken lines are good...very simple!
I replaced flat/flex cable on minimum 20pcs of E700...80% of them had camera problems:
-previev error,
-phone freezing then restarting,
-in camera mode,picture is with some kind of effect (mixed colours)

With this,you confirmed on more time that is flat cable problem:
-"changed camera"-cable is bad
-"reflash the phone"-cable is still bad
-"try different board with same lcd and camera..."-cable is bad again

Am I right,please?

Change flat cable and be happy

i am a new user and was wondering if someone could give me a detailed discription on how to change the flat cable on the samsung e700, as i have the white screen problem on my camera and was wondering what the solution is.is it the flat cable?
