Samsung E800 Set hang - GSM-Forum

Hi all.

Does anyone have any solution where when the phone powers up, it shows the "Samsung" logo and then the screen turns black?? The phone is still in a wake-up mode even though the display is all black.

Seems like a software problem but there simply isn't enough tools around to muck around with this model yet.

Your suggestions much appreciated

seems like nand flash ic might might be freezing

did u try and replace nand flash ic

or before you try that

try to flow the board

my e800 does the same i thought it was normal!

Both pieces have the same and they are brand new. I suppose it is like the first batch of E700 that froze after startup which requires you to write a full flash to repair this problem.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi guys
i have a problem with my E800, when power on only white screen any ideas the sound is still there, was working fine till other day, no contact with water or droped,

Hi .
I have the same problem. White screen. Phone make and receive calls.
When you put a charger (not ever) phone beep and the display show "charging" as normal ... then i power it on and phone works fine ...
After power off and on agan .....

the same ...WHITE SCREEN...
I flash it with UFS ... problem exist ... E2P reset ... unlock ... the same...

Any solution ?????

Hi

Mr Baboom change the LCD flex cable if phone is working.
Mr Phantom- Pls try to formatt nand and then flash the phone bin+tfs file.
