X100 Cable details - a question

Hi all,
Guys, please can someone explain why there are cables that can manage phonebook, sms, schedule, but can not upload/download molodies and pictures.

I have USB cable /a chinise one - noname/ and can upload/download everything except melodies and pictures.

So my question is is there a posibility this cable to be changed.
Also can someone explain in details the pinouts of X100. As I see there are 2 serial interfaces.

Which one is for what?

Thanx in advance.
