X600 - Battery icon somehow disapeared - Need Secret Code to Encable Battery icon - GSM-Forum

Hi,
X600 doesn't show battery icon/sign and not even while charging. But charging is working properly only icon and battery status has gone.

I reckon it has to do something with some secret code thing.

Do you know that code?

there is no code to disable / enable the battery icon.
Try to reflash the phone.
Or maby the lcd is broken

Have you tried another battery its possible the battery is faulty and the handset is not reading it properly

I will try different battery by the way, i heared that its a hardware problem. Though not sure about it

try the eeprom reset code maybe will help !

this is not software fault its 100% hardware try to replace the 3 resistors right side the charging ic

Try with another battery, if not OK check the pins of battery connector. That happens when phone didnt recognize battery type. Check for water dammaged varistors (resistance of varistors must be over 100kOhms) And if nothing of this helps try to change charge IC, sometimes this is the solution.
