| Annoying sound on x650 when sending sms, confirming or encountering an error I have this problem with my samsung x650 phone, it makes this really annoying noises everytime i confirm something, send an sms or hang up or whatever. I've figured out that this is the "key volume" and i can turn it up and down by using the arrow buttons on the left side of the phone. The problem is, i can't turn it off completely. This limitation annoys me A LOT and i'm pretty sure the sounds can be altered in some way, either by making the sounds go away completely or by making volume 1 so low it's impossible to hear. I've been poking around a little bit in the test menu which i accesed by pressin *#8999*8378# and i found some sound settings under the h/v test menu but i don't really know where to change any values or what i should chnage them to. I would greatly appreciate any help on this. |

| I've been looking for that function too. So far, the only way I've found out to disable those annoying messages is to put the entire phone in quiet mode. To do that, you have to press the # for around 3 seconds. It will then tell you that the sounds have been deactivated. With that, I think you won't hear rings nor other sound alerts. You will not be able to listen to the radio too, I think. To turn on the sound, press # again for another 3 seconds. |
