the instruction in the 6520 manual -vol up +hold+power does not seem to work

In some cases, our phones will not work with combination key (download mode). Last time, i faced with B3410w. Finally, i had to use Anyway Box to put it into download mode. I did not understand why too.

hi! ive tried to hold the key on the right side of the phone below the usb connector and the combination doesn't work! so can u pls inform me which is hold key on the phone?

Switch off phone. Hold letter D and power on - you should be able to enter the download mode. Let me know if you can flash after that though.

Thanks! the combination works but the flasher gives an "unlock error" while flashing! is it same with you? hve u flashed your's succesfully? pls let me know!

Getting the exact same error as you are my friend. So no hopes of upgrading the ROM until this is resolved.
