DEAD SAMSUNG GALAXY i9000, HELP!!!! - GSM-Forum

I was trying to update my firmware with odin, and the update failed. While still on the download screen on my phone, i took out the battery and tried turning it on but it doesnt turn on. the screen stays blank. Can anyone give me sugesstions on how to fix my phone.

Firmware Update Steps:
1 Run Samsung I9000 Galaxy S Downloaded i9000_DL.rar
2 Check Re-Partition option and then Cleck PIT button to select: 3 s1_odin_20100xxx.pit file.
3 Click PDA button and select : I9000xxxxx-REV03-PDA-low-CL584433.tar.md5
4 Click PHONE button and select: MODEM_I9000xxxxx.tar.md5
5 Click CSC button and select: GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-Oxxxxx.tar.md5
6 Put the phone into download mode: Press Volume Down + OK + Power Key.
7 Connect USB cable to Phone and PC.
8 Make sure that the program has detects the phone.
9 Press Start button and wait.
10 When all is done the program will show you PASS! word.
11 Turn on the phone and do full reset: *2767*3855#

For download mode..and just plug in then reflash it again...

it doesn't respond when connected to pc via usb. So i can't do any of that. The screen doesnt respond whether its on the charger or pc. Any other suggestions?

Now Phone can not enter download mode! can u use (usb download I9000) put phone in download mode otherwise maybe only Jtag can help u

not sure, will try. But how does jtag work? i'd have to opn the fne up n' disassemble?
