Member: 1630539 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | E1080F Kickstart As a temporary stopgap I've grabbed myself the E1080F until I get some cash together for a nice android machine. My HTC wizard has bitten the dust finally (its been running heavily overclocked for 2 years, so I reckon its finally burnt out). Just looking to do some very basic tweaks of it, I want to access the filesystem and switch out some wallpapers and ringtones. I've been googling like crazy for 5 days now, trying to get started on playing with this phone, maybe I'm not coming up with the magical word combinations. Was hoping someone could give me a kickstart with a weblink to a tutorial perhaps. The furthest I've managed to come is I've found one post on this forum with some screenshots of a tool running, with the filesystem open: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f311...1080f-1116317/ Would that tool (SaraSoft "Samsung Tools") be the best for the job? Any pushes in the right internet-erly direction would be great. Cheers |
