Member: 240026 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Information on N9005: Never try to flash back to 4.3 or downwards once you got KitKat 4.4 flashed. Samsung changed the Bootloader in 4.4 and you will never be able to bypass the signature with an older Bootloader. If you got stuck on Samsung logo after trying to upgrade to 4.4 just use advice given earlier on, flash CWM or TWRP (make sure to download 4.4 version) with Odin 3.09 and your N9005 will boot up just fine. Flashing N9005 with KitKat is a pain in the ***, never had so much trouble with any other modern Android. Odin likes to fail flash process with [SIZE] error or [AUTH]. In this case you need the correct PIT file, not just any. If you softbricked your device already encountering famous "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again" error switch back to Download Mode and flash one of the 4-part-KK-ROMs (or threeparts if you have in your region) with the corresponding PIT. If you have severe issues like constant FCs or mounting problems (device is unable to mount /data/ or internal SD partition flash the correct stock recovery for your ROM and format /data/, then Factory Reset. Device will be fine again. Click thanks if I have helped you. |
