E250 newbie needs help... - GSM-Forum

greetings to administrator, readers and helping buddies... recently i juz bought E250 and there is no chinese language and i went to shops to install it. they upgraded my software to E258 with chinese language but no network/limited services appeared. after 2 days i went back to the shop, they threw back the phone to me and i start it, it was fine. there was chinese language and network coverage were back to normal but this time no ringing tone, i cant hear a sound from speakers and cant speak from the mic. the phone was back to E250 with chinese language but its only for viewing as i cant type [pin-yin] in sms board either. i can only speak and hear if i activate the loudspeakers. pls do help me

... how to go about this matter and pls show me the way to get them done

just tell them "reflash it with a full flash not only bin and tfs or just reflash the eeprom "

i told them wat u stated up here but they keep insist of telling me it's the fault of the ribbon ... now when ppl calls me the ringtone i downloaded starts to ring but still no sound when i pick em up, unless i put them on loudspeakers =.= its the same effect on my music player ... still no sound. things are getting more funny and complicated ... any other clues or ways i could follow again? pls do advise .. thanks alot

i read thru the forum for a while and its better if i could provide my phone details rather than blindly searching or asking for response. sorry guys. its E250DDXHD1 and i need chinese language for my phone. what cable shud i use and pls educate me c0s i'm really lost now. thanks alot again.

this is not a software problem, more like to be flexi. i have change many flexi of e250, once your phone get opened without care, your flexi can get damage, even the flexi is not torn. flexi is a ribbon thing they talking about, it connect lcd, keypad, speaker,Ringer and camera from motherboard to top board .

chinese typing check in the message or the setting where language input must set to pin yin.
You should have flash with version to E250ZC... for chinese typing.
