Member: 1126419 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  firmware update U600 how to. A while ago it fell down and the display and cover were broken. So I let someone change it (he charged €60) and it took a very long time (4 monthq) to get it back. At least I got it back . The display and touchpad are new but the touchpad doesn't work.The display and numeric keyboard work fine. I try to contact the repair-man but no response for a few weeks now. I think he is faking his death because he does not have an answer to the problem. In this forum I read that I have to flash the phone with new firmware and the synchronise the touchpad with code *#9998*86824# Since I am a little familiar with flashing my own Samsung i900 Omnia , I thought ,let's give it a try. But where do I find the correct Firmware? I live in Belgium and the firmware now is U600BXXHB1. Can someone help me where to find the correct firmware and flash-tool? Thanxx in advance... You have to be sure that the technician has been studying on your set how to repair phones  Wow....Be very thank full that you have it back at all!!! My advice is to take the phone to a Real GSM Service so the people can do their job and satisfy you!! Otherwise you may cause bigger and bigger problems with home made update at this level.... BTW,if your whole family have a Samsung phones and you are obsessed with repairing/flashing,you can just buy NSPRO box and flash them all!!FLASH THEM ALL IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE,BRO Last edited by DundyTM; 09-25-2009 at 09:25. |

Member: 1126419 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Yes I know , but he fixed my other phone fine... I do not know what's wrong with him.. But to buy a nspro programmer is too expensive for me... For my Omnia I simply use the USB-cable. I'm looking for an easy and cheap way to flash the u600 and it is one time only.But the problem is that I dont know which is the right firmware and where to find it. I will post the question in the Request area. Now I will be gone till next thursday , I hope someone will post a link to the firmware and the how-to. Thanx. |
