Help flashed samsung g600 and lost imei

Hi I dont know if anyone can help me but I stupidly bought an unlocking code from ebay that was "guarenteed" to unlock my samsung g600 to any network. Instead of doing this it has stopped my phone from connecting with o2. I am a pay monthly customer. I have checked my imei number and it has be turned to a series of 0s. How do I get my old imei back onto the phone? And will this make my phone work again?

Please explain any solutions without jargon as I am new to this. I dont care about unlocking the phone now I just want it to work.

Would a independent mobile phone shop be able to fix this?

Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks

Ryan

ryan seems a lot of us have fallen for this , as to date nobody seems to have a solution to write the original imei number back as the g600 is so new, if you are patient there will be a solution in the future when some one figures out the software!

As the phone was a new upgrade i played dumb with the provider and they sent me a new handset. Was a close one but got away with it. Learnt a valuable lesson not to fu$k around with the phone.
