help needed with s-5620 - GSM-Forum

can any one help a complete novice, i have a s5620 that we bought second hand which was working it was on t-mobile but we wanted to change to o2, anyway cut a long story short i couldnt take it to have it unlocked for about a week later, when i went back to pick the phone up he told be it had been barred and the imei blocked, so i have been stitched up. is there anyway of repairing the imei to make the phone work again and to have it on o2 any help as iam completely stumped

you have totaly lost me quote( bro unlock with z3x box to unlock_patch_firmware) what are these and when i find them what do i do with them as i said iam very new to anything thing like this and dont laugh iam only just getting used to texting, so what i really need is a dummys guide to what you said, oh and thanks for replying

just tried with 2G_tools_3.4.0040 but all i get is error card driver fail card not found iam running windows 7 64bit

You must to buy Z3X box to use this software.
You cant unlock this phone without an proffesional tool and software only if you buy an code from service provider of this phone.

thanks for that didnt know i had to buy a Z3X box but at over £100 for one the phone is going in the bin, you can get a new s5620 for £120, unless some knows a better but thanks for all the replys

You can buy an unlock code from an code provider from around 20e.

i took it into my local shop for that but they cant do anything with it as the imei has been blocked,

iam going to ask my friend to ask round and see if his friends have one of those z3x boxes you never know i may get lucky this time (been ripped off when i first bought the phone)

no luck with finding anyone who has a z3x box,does anyone one out there in the uk fancy a little job, i cant think of any other route to go down as been stung for the price of the phone i cant afford a z3x box, thanks to everyone who has given me advise so far
