Member: 2076838 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | How do i change Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, AT&T version ?? I have received this Samsung Galaxy as a gift. Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, 64GB, AT&T, Came from USA Model: SM-G955U Its build number is G955USQU1AQC9, Made in Korea Now, I don't like this T Carrier, Sprint, or Verizon, and in fact i don't what they mean or how they are different from "Normal" version of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. So, my questions are 1. What these T Carrier, Sprint mean?? How are they different from normal phones? 2. I want to make it normal phone. Is it possible to upgrade the firmware or anything? [N.B: I worked with Odin before] I would appreciate any help i get. Thank you already.  Sincerely Mahmud |

Second, you can try to flash the following firmware into the device.... This SHOULD "UNBRAND" is and create an unlocked version! There is a chance this could mess something up, so make sure you write down or take pictures of the Details in the ABOUT Phone screen...Specifically: Device Serial Number S/N Build Version Baseband Version and Carrier it is made for. Here is the UNBRANDED Firmware: BINARY SM-G955U1 OYM Firmware Make Sure you use ODIN v3.12.3 or above!! I use the 4 Files loaded into the Matching slots: THEN i use the following option to completely restore the device to FACTORY: Auto-Reboot NAND Erase All Re-Partition F. Reset Time Phone Bootloader Update Phone EFS Clear after your done...It should be Unbranded and ready to GO! IF you have any issues, let me know...i will need the INFO to help you get it back!!
