Open Odin in your computer and reboot your phone so that it can enter in the Download Mode. The download mode in Galaxy ACE S5830i can be entered by pressing down on Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button .
Now, connect your phone to the computer with the help of USB cable. Once connected, you can see that the ID: COM section has turned Yellow in Odin.
Now, Click on “PIT” to select “cooperve_0623.pit” and then click on “PDA” tab to select “S5830iXXLD3_S5830iODDLD2_RST_S5830iDDLD1_HOME.tar .md5”.
After selecting the files, Click “Start” to start the update process. After successfully the process, disconnect your phone and reboot.
After rebooting, the device will show up the Home Screen or Language preferences, indicating you to disconnect your phone.

1.download Odin3 v1.85

2. run this Odin3 v1.85

3. Bootloader : DefaultCalDataWithBoot_S5830iXXKK5_REV00.tar
4. PDA : PDA_S5830iXXKL1_REV00.tar
5. PHONE : MODEM_S5830iXXKK5_REV00.tar
6. CSC: GT-S5830i-MULTI-CSC-OXEKK4_RST.tar

7. volium up+volium down+power button
8. now bootloader show
9. connect ur phone use usb with pc will be show yeallow in id.com on the odin

i have s5830i and it cannot boot. the only thing it does is rebooting

Hi all,

I bought my Galaxy Ace S5830i last month. I hadn't installed Samsung Kies until yesterday, when I launched it it prompted a firmware upgrade. First I tried to use kies to upgrade but whenever the upgrade process started (Kies started downloading the firmware files) my device automatically got disconnected..I tried reinstalling kies, restarting my phone but nothing worked.
I then decided to use odin(v1.87) to flash the firmware on my device but it kept failing at first step itself. Here's what it said :-

i can make download on s5830i i press volume up+volume down + key power ,
the phone power on but nothing on the screen.
i try second step , volume down +home button+power key ,the phone a power on.
i have riff box can anyone help me?

good day.. my s5830i is rooted and replace the firmware apk file, can i still flash my phone using odin. what is the procedure thanks...

Firmware Update Steps:

- Run Odin flasher and check these options: Re-Partition, Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time.

- Now you have to select the Firmware files that will be used by Odin to Update your phone:

PIT: cooperve_0623.pit

BOOTLOADER: DefaultCalDataWithBoot_S5830ixxxxx_REV00.tar.md5

PDA: PDA_S5830ixxxxx_REV00.tar.md5

PHONE: MODEM_S5830ixxxxx_REV00.tar.md5

CSC: GT-S5830i-MULTI-CSC-Oxxxxx.tar.md5

- Put your phone into Download Mode: Press Volume Down Key + Home + Power.

- Connect USB cable to phone and PC and install drivers ( If needed ).

- Make sure that Odin can detect the Com Port number of your connected phone.

- Click Start button on Odin program to begin the update process.

- Odin flasher will update your phone then will restart it automatically.
