a few days ago came to the market a new version of phone which is the samsung A157v which I tried unlock by old A157 model, but you can unlock if someone managed to do some choosing another model would appreciate the details.

You don't need a cable at all for this. I have done this last week.

Follow these steps:

Dial #*7337#. that will remove the unlock and it should be unlocked

only via imei, if you use this code: #*7337# imei erased and not work past 5 days..
