This is a short tutorial about how to update software in your Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite (Fresh) S7390 using Odin 3.07 and how to root using Impactor tool 0.9.14

How to update:

Download Odin 3.07 from here:

1.Power off your phone
2.Put your phone in download mode by pressing together volume down+home button+power key
3.Connect your phone to pc via microusb cable and wait until the drivers are installled
4.Open Odin 3.07 and select desired files for update
5.Wait until the update is completed
6.Wait until the phone restarts

Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos Rooting Guide

Do make sure that you have taken a backup of the personal data on your Android phone, before starting the rooting of it.
Backup personal data of Android Phone.

Now, follow these instructions to root the Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos:

Download the One Click Root tool from the official website:
Downloading Now
Connect the phone to the computer using the MicroUSB cable
Enable the USB debugging mode on the phone (go to Settings > Development / Developer > USB Debugging)
Open the One Click Root software and wait for the tool to recognize the phone, and list it there
Click on “Root Now” and the software would do the next process.

You need:
- Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos GT-S7392 Stock Firmware Package.
Download S7392DDUAMJ4 ODDAMJ1 India Android zip
Download S7392DDUAML1 ODDAML1 India zip

- Odin3 Flasher.
Odin307 - Download - 4shared

- Samsung GT-S7392 USB Drivers.
Download USB Drivers exe

- Turn off the device, And take out its battery, SIM and memory cards.
- Run Odin3.exe program.
- Check these options: Re-Partition (If you have PIT file only), Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time.
- Click PIT button to select: kyleve.pit

- Firmware files selection:
Click Bootloader button to select: BOOTLOADER_S7392xxxxxxx_...REV00_user_low_ship.tar .md5
Click PDA button to select: CODE_S7392xxxxxxx_...REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Click Phone button to select: MODEM_S7392xxxxxxx_...REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Click CSC button to select: CSC_xxx_S7392xxxxxxx_...REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md 5

- Entering the Download Mode:
Put the battery back into your device, Press and Hold Volume Down key + Home key + Power, After you get the warning message release all keys and press Volume Up key.

- Use the USB cable to connect your device to the computer, Don't use any USB-HUB for connecting, And use only main USB slots.

- Wait until Windows detects the connected device and installs its suitable USB drivers.
- In case everything is OK, Then Odin program will detect your connected device (0:[COMxx]).
- Click on Start button.
- Odin program will start installing the new firmware files into your device, So wait until the device reboots.
- If the update was successfully done, Then you will notice PASS! Word at Odin program.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Check your device firmware version *#1234# (You should see the new installed one).
- Turn off the device again, Reinsert the SIM and memory cards and turn it on.
- Now you can customize your device after installing the new firmware version.
- If you made any backup of your device data before the update then you can restore it again.
- Done.

Notice: When you get one big file inside the firmware package, Then it should be selected as a PDA file only, And do not check Re-Partition option or use PIT file at all.
