PLEASE help! Samsung SGH-f480

Hey Every one,
I know you read this all too often on forums posted by noobs who have no idea of anything...
but that's exactly what I am in this case.

I seriously urgently need the following information:

how can I get into the phone internal memory of my old phone???
Samsung SGH-f480 (Tocco pink edition, not ultra, light or anything)

I need to get some deleted files back that where stored in the internal memory of the phone and NOT on the sd card! but I can not find a way to access the memory as a drive or mount it as a volume!?
I have read that there may be some applications out there that will be able to do a COMPLETE dump of the internal flash memory to a mountable image, but I cant find them. (and I have been looking for over a week!
and time is running out for me!)

Also when I was still using the phone i set a pin code to protect my messages folder, but I can not remember it AT ALL! I have already put two wrong try's in...

is there a way to reset that pin with out deleting everything?

and last but not least I just cant work out what operating system is on the darn thing???
Agere? Conextant? Sysol etc...??

Please any one with ideas or answers to any of those questions come forward! I cant begin to express how important this is!
I know I'm just a random noob on a forum for phone specialists,
but please help your fellow human!

PS: even if you don't know the answers your self, maybe you can think of some one who does? and maybe you would even go as far as to send them this thread?

Seriously? No one?

All Over the place I'm being told "its not possible"...

BUT IT IS POSSIBLE! how else would oxygen and paraben be able to do it??

There MUST be a way! And some one out there knows it,
So please come forward!

Thanks for your message
I dont think I understand your answer,
There is no sim in the phone.
so no phone number...

To clarify my questions:

I have a samsung SGH-f480 (simple Tocco)

I would be endlessly grateful if some one could answer ANY
of the following questions:

1.) What generation is this phone?
Agere, Trident, VLSI, conexant, skyworks etc?
it is not listed in any of the forum descriptions
and I have been unable to identify this so far.

2.) Is anyone aware of a software (any mac or pc)
that is capable of accessing the flash memory INSIDE the phone,
either to perform a data recovery or to get a full image/ dump
of its currently written data content independent of file delete status!
I'm not talking about the firmware flash,
I'm talking about the internal USER memory.

3.) is there a code or other way to reset the pin on the messages folder
that I have set almost 2 years ago? Without deleting the whole phone.

Still ANY replies are hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

Thank you again for replying!
I am sorry if I sound like a fool, but when it comes to phones
my knowledge is rather limited unfortunately.
but I do know a fair bit about computer programming...

1.) Thank you. QC= Qualcomm? what is BCM Please?

2.) I know about the pc studio, but that does not allow you to enter the internal memory in a direct fashion from the operating system. (it does not allow access by a third party program to recover data.)

The files I need to get to are DELETED.
the only way to get them back is to perform data recovery on the ACTUAL CHIP! (the internal user memory, nand chip memory/ ram/ rom/ flash etc.

Do you know a software that can access the chip directly with system access? or that is capable of downloading a COMPLETE data image of the whole chip,
all user files, messages etc., INCLUDING "empty space"?

3.) Thank you. what should I do with the code 0000?
I do not understand the answer.

I am very greatful for your replies though!! because it does get me closer to the goal!
Thank you again.

just power your mob on,(without simcard)
type
*2767*3855#
that will delete all user data and put phone back to factory settings.
once you press the # dont touch mob,it will restart itself.
when it restarts,,do not touch,,for 20-30 secs,,,

if you want recover whats in phone memory, dont use this code.
and use mobiledit to recover if you want,,
once you put this code,,you cannot recover anything,,(not without special software)

and default code for samsungs is 00000000 thats 8 0s or 000000 thats 6 0s
after doing the code,above

and av you tried installing samsung pc suite,,to get at ur user data....lol

Hey Bcatlock1,
Thanks for your reply!!

The link is very helpful! thank you!

However I am already in that unfortunate place of "special software"
there are files on the chip that have been deleted and I need to get them back,
no matter how hard I have to work to get in there!
it really is very important for me!

I have already been through mobile edit and it does not
allow me to do a full dump of the internal memory or access the storage chips as drives/ partitions, only as directories. which it is not possible to perform recovery on.

So that special software your talking about is EXACTLY what I am asking for!
I would be very greatful if you could point me in the right direction,
as I simply dont have the knowledge to programm the access myself in the amount of time I have left.

Regarding the pin lock,
this is a lock that is placed only on the messages program of the phone,
all other features and programs are freely accessible by me.
I originally put the pin in because of a nosy partner,
but now I need to get into the messages again and I cant remember the pin,
as I have not used the phone in almost a year.

so what I am looking for, if there is such a thing, is a code to reset JUST that one pin,
without deleting anything...

I would really appreciate any further advice you may have for me!

Thanks for your efforts already!

I'm sympathetic about your situation. Actually, I have familiar experience. I once dropped my Samsung onto ground and got screen broken. What's more, I could never enter my phone because I'd set a pin code though there're very important data. So I asked for help on forum. A kind friend told me I should use a data recovery tool like Samsung Data Recovery. So I downloaded one from RecoveryAndroid. I had no idea if it worked. To my surprise, I recovered all data from Samsung Galaxy S6! Today I'd like to recommend it to you because, it is really a wonderful software.

Thanks for your sharing. I managed to find back my data from lock A7 finally. It's really powerful. I'm fond of it!
