Link is dead a long ago. Mediafire think the file is dangerous so doesn't allow to download (may be deleted). Samsung seems to be performed some actions to include this util's signature to the AV lists (just a guess).

I've got a copy from the Russian 4pda ru forums attachment. Here it is.
I haven't tested it for a while. Trojans and virs is a nonsense at the 4pda, so they are very rare to find there. Unlike stupid and stolen to the Matrix AV's, advanced users, who are in fact the real and smart people, easily differ useful hacking tools which help to live and win the matrices from the real offensive malware which acts against generic people trying to steal-n-destroy their data.

Util is packed by the !EPack executable compressor. Suggested RL!dePacker didn't produced executable unpacked exe, it seems to be failed with IAT searching. No time to trace/dump with Olly to get fully unpacked executable. Util seems to send some command to the Qualcomm (other's?) Samsung diag virtual C OM port to switch device to the DL mode. I've found one command AT+FUS? which could be some kind related to the device mode.

BTW, there is a string inside: YOU ARE A STUPID HACKER, WHY SNIFF MY SMALL TOOL? ASK ME AND I GIVE YOU MY COMPLETE SRC

Furthermore, forums allow just 400KB RAR or 500KB ZIP attchments obsolete limits (e.g. 4pda limit is 128MB for any data, plus multipart allowed w/o any limits, I do attach whole FW's there and files loaded very quickly. XDA have limits, but allows attachment downloading w/o any regs and with any referrer). We have no time to spread useful things around stupid file exchanges where they could be easily lost due to no one have DL'd them for a period of time. Service isn't a toy. Required files should be accessible 24/365 for years and decades. Forum admins, plz think about to extend attachment limits to the reasonable amount. The more comfortable environment users get in the forums, the more visitors you get and more fukin money you get from ads. Plz don't cry you've no money to pay for servers, etc. 5+ banners on every page should give you a fine income enough to not only pay hosting expenses but pay your personal bills and even sometimes relax on the Bermuda.

These forums stay the central international mobile service community forums but If you don't care about your site, users will simply migrate to another locations. Isn't it?

question, you think its possible to use a similar method to force boot into edl mode?

not sure how you did it but i assume it simulates the resistence to 300k which triggers an immediate reboot to download mode?

I can't go to recovery mode as home button is defect on Sam J7.
Anyone how to go to recovery mode without flashing the ROM?

upon inspection this software is not special.. it only sends reboot command to enter dl mode.. onmy useful if for some reason u cant manually enter like if buttons are broken
