Member: 937826 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Samsung i550 - Questions about firmware update I found the a new fw for i550 - i550XXHH1 . also i have downloaded the fw i550XXgk4 - it is the one currently on my phone, still i dont know if they are originals... I found in this forum de service manual and the S60 drivers and the apollo sw. But i still have some questions... 1- the i550XXHH1 is for non-wifi i550, right? will the phone be locked to any operator with this firmware update? He is free now... it is and "original" firmware from samsung? i can i be sure? Does anyone have the firm and updated with sucess. Could you send it to me or out the link in this post? 2- on the apollo soft, when you check the NV option, it will erase imei? i dont want that... 3- the preloaded soft that cames with the phone will desappear (like quickoffice basic, adobe, yahoo go...)? 4- is the above mentioned firmware the most stable? or not? does it have PORTUGUESE language? 5- the cable to flash is the one that cames with the phone? Again i be forever thankful for all the help you can give me. D_Saint |
