G955F still on binary 1, when i try to flash Combination only stuck on logo Factory and stay for hours. Phone also have problem with efs, but i can't repair efs bcoz have FRP. Any solution?

Did you already tried this method?

Also use the latest version of Odin3_v3.13.1

First flash factory firmware, after make hard reset by KEY, flash the latest version of combination file, hopefully this procedure will work for you.

I have a S8+ with:

8.0.0/R16NW/G955FXXU3CRGB

#fail to open recovery_cause

remove failed dir /system/carrier/att/priv-app/AttIqi_att
RP SWREV B:3 K:2 S:2

I cant get any method to work to remove FRP or downgrade my S8+

My latest firmware should be:

Neither Odin nor Samsung pro Tools run clean, I end up with RP SWREV binary 3 2 1 device 3 2 1 errors.

I reckon I am missing something. Really annoyed by my mistake with the firmware.

I would be most thankful for shared experience and todo I didnt try yet.

you miss the only important one: protection rollback bit 3 ( g955fxxu3....)
You can't downgrade.... only way is combination bit 3 then flash stock bit3 ( only sboot.boot.system.recovery.cache) or try with odin BL+AP+HomeCsc. It may help to so reset frp and factory reset in combination before flash stock.

you could full flash stock bit3 from DBT then try again with combination.

First of all Thank you for guiding me thru my blindness and filling my knowledge.

I managed to fix my GALAXY S8+ G955FXXU3CRGB SM-G955FD DBT GERMANY
with a Bit 3 Firmware File:

COMBINATION_FA70_G955FXXU3ARG1

Which can be found here on this forum.

I tried to flash the combination rom several times before succeeding. I used ODIN 3.13.1 (not the B patched version). And Samsung Pro Tool 29.5. Either one managed to flash at some point. Im sure that it was a vital step to flash the complete 4 Files official G955FXXU3CRGB ROM and then factory reseting before trying to flash the combination file again.

Alot of flash fails in between... and then finally it worked. What I did additionally was enabling ADB within Factory Firmware and running this script several times:

(sorry cant post links yet)

Not sure if that really is neccesary but my final attempt had this step involved. I basically ran the command line several times without acctually knowing if it worked.

Finally restarted with Samsung pro Tool to download mode and flashed with Samsung Pro Tool 29.5 with the suggested settings and exclusions

If you want to skip md5 verification remove the md5 file name prefix at the end of the file name. It could also mean the combination file downloaded was corrupt / not downloaded properly.
