Some questions about Flashing procedures and E1270

Hi there. I have some questions about flashers and firmwares.

I'm new in this "world", and i searched the whole forum and read a lot about h3x, ***** box, polar box and similars. But before trying to do something by myself I would like to have some informations from people who already did similar procedures (in order to avoid failures and mistakes...).

Recently i found a bunch of Samsung E1270 with En,De,Fr languages only.
My purpose is to change the firmware into a new one with the italian language in it.

However, i downloaded an archive with many e1270 firmwares but i'm very confused about the flashing procedure.

Moreover, I also have an italian version of the phone, and i thought that another way to proceed could be to download the firmware from the italian one and to flash it into the en-de-fr one, but i'm confused about that the same.

I would like to know if there is some tutorials or guide in order to better understand this kind of procedure.

Finally, these are my questions

1) Do I strictly need an hardware 'box' (es. *****, polar etc.) in order to do this procedure? Of course i am available to pay for that, but first i would like to be sure about what i am doing.
2) I download the drivers and a program called 'research downloader'. Unforunately the program doesn't read .zip firmware files but only .pac one, and i wasn't able to find any of them. Is there a way to convert .zip firmware files to .pac one ? Should i trust this program and try to go on with that?
3) Are there other programs or procedures in order to flash a firmware for the samsung e1270 ?

Eventually, from which side should i start in order to understand how this works?
