Unbranding for beginners - U900 Soul - GSM-Forum

Hello everybody,

I am new here and i want to "unbrand" my new U900 Soul. It is unlocked from german O2 provider, working relatively fine, but there are some functions "locked" like the softkeys that i can't customise (left is dedicated to SMS-ing and right to Internet), and T9 input is on anytime i start to type sms, which i find very frustrating

I was searching all the forum, feeling like Alice in Wonderland, but still couldn't find clearly i was looking for.

So anybody pls tell me procedure what should I do, to try make my phone unbranded.

Software version is U900AOHC6.

you need unbranded file like U900XUHC6 and flashing program no good buying ust for 1 phone but even unbranded software may not give you options you need

one more question for now,

firmware in my phone is U900AOHC6. is it necessary to load the same version,
or i can put anyone from the list?

on the right side it tells you how to check the firmware,what language is it,what year and what month is it made in,the safest would be the latest firmware

ok, here i am again.

i have downloaded U900ADHC6 firmware, and its about time to flash my baby according to this procedure: http://www.bsrdesigns.co.uk/files/unlock_u900.html

i have extracted firmware files, but while doing that the language was not recognizable. i wonder if there is something wrong with it. the shot is here:
