Yes it will debrand the phone but not UNLOCK it.. if your phone has simlock before this it will have simlock after it.. you only change the firmware of the phone.. but simlockdata is stored in secured NVRam and this is not touched by the firmware update...

for now only way to unlock this phone is by Servicebox like Easy Unlocker Box

ok, i will retract. I have however successfully used both VODAFONE and O2 sims in this phone. (UK) thanks for your info.

Hi, how are you guys? Did anyone tried this with T-Mobile FW?
How do I find out FW on U900? *#9999# doesnt work for me.
