| Possible to modify the startup/shutdown images? Hi, I recently purchased a my401c (what a superb little phone) from one of our local telcos here in Australia, the phone itself isn't network locked but does have branding on the startup and shutdown animated images, which I find extremely annoying. I was just wondering if there is a way to replace these, I can see the animated gif being used when browsing the phone from the wallpaper setting menu, but I can't figure out how to delete it or the other wallpapers that came with the phone. Honestly I'd like to wipe the lot so when I set wallpaper to random it just selects from wallpapers I have personally loaded but if I could just get rid of those branded animations it would make me pretty damn happy. | No luck so far, seems this is due to branded firmware. No updates for my specific revision of the my401c at planetsagem.com (I assume due to it being shipped with the branded firmware, it has a very different code number to the usual sagem 25x xxx xxx codes, this one being 987 011 994). Any ideas on how to get updated firmware onto here? I guess I pay the price for being an early adopter, the current firmware I have has issues (always plays the first poly ringtone in the list at the lowest volume when I get a call, no matter what I load into settings/phone/ringtones/calls or individual phonebook entries) Thanks. |

| You can remove the startup/shutdown branding by deleting the operator logo. There are several thousand sites that can do this. Try getjar.com warwound |
