    Thumbs up re: florinmar

I writing this message in english for all!

Your " Read 537 error" coming because your field 5250 contain 2 unsuported checksumed fields. This fields is 5374 and 5375. Now you must rewrite your eeprom with one backup from other working phone (via cable or with pony-prog) and after rhat you must recalculate all checksums for your new eeprom, but now you must use your checksum fied-list without this 2 fields: 5374 and 5375. Ex: If you use a checksum list with 12 fields, you must use now only 10 fields ( without 5374 and 5375) and declare for field 5250 only 10 fields protected. Now go and make your phone working!!!

    Regards,

    Hi GSMLight!
You can't calculate any PhoneID out of damaged (incorrect) data -> So you have to read the ID out of the dallas Chip (See http://sagem.nsk.su/id.htm or http://www22.brinkster.com/mysagem/p....html#hardware )

If the eeprom is physically damaged, you have to replace it with a new I2C-EEPROM (same size)...
Than you have to reprogram the eeprom. This is the same as if you would have an PB-EEPROM3 error.
