| IMEI - what is inside? IMEI - what is inside? I mean, does anybody know how to recognize phone by IMEI (with internal eprom, or with external)??? THNX |

| Most of the phones nowadays have the eerpom area emulated in the flash. I don't think there are any left with an physical eeprom for the new models. That was a nice time .... for sure not coming back. br al |

All new models have the eeprom emulated in flash. The last model that used external eeprom was MC3000 if i remember well. And yes any phone model can be recognized by IMEI ... you can see that feature in New Sagem Calculator available at www.hack3r2k.com at SALES ...Br | |

By knowing this what advantage will it have??MC 920 has eeprom separatly .. it is at the bottom near the charging connector. Presume all the MC **** is like that. | Yes, I dont need IMEI for flashing Sagem, but my friend told me that he will buy for me some Sagems (MC939, MW930) in Germany. So I want to tell him which phones he should buy, and which not. I do not want to buy sagems, that I could not russify. Help me PLZ |
