| my220x - Phone not recognised, by software why ? Hi all, Maybe someone can help me on the problem I am facing now. My father gave me the phone now that he moved to an other mobile operator. Unfortunately, the phone is set with a I do not know  I have a usb data cable for Sagem 220x. I put my sim on the phone, enter pin code and get stuck at the post code entry... When I try to install the usb driver, the driver installer is not finding the phone, however, it is powered and the pin code has been entered. I tried to use other aps like MPAS, TelMemPlus, etc to read post code (I read that MPAS could find the virtuel COM port the phone is connected to) but with no success. The software can't find the phone. 1- Am I doing something wrong ? 2- Is it because the speed is not set, and I have to use Astu or Sagem Tools to set-it correcly ? 3- Are the usb driver really needed to build a "bridge" between COM port and USB port ? Well I am a bit lost here, as I spent already many hours on this forum or internet seeking an answer.....  By the way, this is a great forum  with many (too many ?) information, tips and tricks for phone.Cheers guys |

| My220x is egold cpu , there's free soft http://unlockteam.eu/Vodafone_Sagem.rar but you need serial cable you can modify your usb cable Salam |

| Thanks for the quick reply abdoune. That's an application I downloaded earlier on but never tried. I have to get a usb-->com adapter then and give it a try. Do you know what do func do I have to use with Vodafone_Sagem to get post code ? Is it "Read Eeprom and field 100 ? Greetz |
