Sagem Terms Explained

Hi, I am trying to get a handle on how to unlock Sagems, but would like to first know the territory. my questions are

1. What is a lock level ? apparently you phone can be locked to more than one, and how do you know which locklevel your phone is locked to ?

2. What is the PhoneID ? is it the unlock code ?

3. What fields are needed to fully calculate an unlock code ?

Hello Tical am also newbee but i can give you some help perhaps it interest you ...
The fields needed to calculate an unlock code are:
field 5250 to 5262 you can obtain there value by entering to hotmenu by pressing:
IN sagem 3xxx: *226632623xy where y
DJ3,5C a DJ3,5D a DJ3,5E a DH3,5H : y=5
DF4,5E a DF4,5F a DH4,6J a DJ4,6G a DG4,5H a DI4,6G : y=4
JC3,6N a JC3,6O a JC3,6L : y=2
and x egal the additional four number
for exemple if the IMEI is :35074635261245-3
1245 -> 1+2+4+5 = 12
12/10 =2 , x=2
Is it ok , i wish my help will be usefull, best regards.

Hi ripcord seems ur having same problem like i had (cannot enter hot menu)was forced to unlock mine online www.freefonefun.net log costs £9.98, u may also temporarily use phone by entering the blocked simcard then **05* it will ask for PUK which u input, enter new pin (could b same one as b4). this procedure works till u switch of phone then u have to repeat the step again.

Hi cmwangi, would it not have been easier to get a data cable and read these "EPROM" stuff from the phone? In this forum, you seem to be able to get the unlock codes for free if you have the info? That's what i'm thinking of doing!

in this forum, u nid field 0, 5709 --> data cable by itself cannot read the fields
dongle costs money but try this software http://free-zg.htnet.hr/hrco/astu.zip to retrieve the above fields then post them in forum or use calculator.

Between newbees we help at each other
So,

1 - The locklevel : determines which sort of locking method your phone has (0x40 for unblocked, 0x00 for never blocked, etc.)
2 - PhoneID : It's the phone IDentification number. It is not the unlock code =). That's from this ID that all the fields are crypted / encoded in the eeprom. That's why some toolz can reverse the calculation to retrieve this ID from 2 fields (one crypted, the other uncrypted). For some versions of firmware (xx4,6X) the ID MUST be retrieved with a datacable and with a special tool.

3 - The fields needed : the field 0 (IMEI in a twisted form) and the PhoneID are only required by example if you use the the tool SRSv1.2 from Chris922. In any case you will be asked to enter these two fields. They are mandatory. Also the Hash Table (depends on phone model) is required.

That's what i've learned here ! Hope it will help you !

There's gotta be a better way

Hi, I used the SAGEM v 2.3 to calculate the code for a MY-X5 , my PC is 400 Mhz cpu, Using fast method, nothing happen, with Slow method , it took 4 Hrs to return the code !!!. Now from a business point a view , I would get a lot of grey hairs before I made any money off Sagems at this rate.

I am assuming that there is some other method that can calculate the codes quickly.

Hello,

it seems there is no field corresponding with 5709. Perhaps you can use it as uncrypted and crypted field.

This field is required in case you can't enter into the monitor mode... I can't tell you more about it because I don't know more, sorry !
