C35 Siemens Low signal (3/5) - GSM-Forum

Hi All!

I have low signal strenght on a Siemens C35 ,

I've already checked antenna, antenna contacts, external antenna connector and TX/RX switch, but the phone still have 3/5 signal <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

Someone knows what other filters and/or components should I check? Where is the IF filter? and the gsm RF filters??

GSM filter located in the upper block (PA block), just look for 2 (two) smaller componen marked epcos, there's also 2 (two) 1800 filter there, larger then the GSM filter and has 2 and 3 holes through it.

IF filter is located in the middle block, look for another componen marked EPCOS, located in the middle, beside D5124 and up of LMX2379

maybe u should check the GMS filter driver, marked AMs (4 leg componen) and located near GSM filter
