SX1 contact supplier

Hi, have a sx1 which tells me selftest failed contact retailer.
Phone was dead, reflow flash ics, then made a mistake by flashing
sl65 flash into it.

Reflashed sx1 8mb flash into it and with winswup i flashed the rest.
Formatted the phone but error keeps the same.

software or hardware?

thanks

Start phone in swup mode and update all!

Maybe you need to flash egold only with serial cable before you can enter swup mode

Hi, at first it was dead..
Then reflow than i got some signs off life, right after i flashed sl65 35mb.with sst

Then corrected with 8mb sx1 and then swup..all.
Result was phone turns on ok, but error message.
Mostly format phone rpairs that, but not in this case.

regards
Sjakie

sjakie, maybe your sx1 is ok,but you must use original battery to power on it,if you use power supplier ,you will see "contact retailer" message.

to farmat sx1,you can power down it ,then press "*" and "#" key, then press power key to power on,and release ,you can see formatting progress bar is going on.
