Member: 252614 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Start measuring Dear all, I have bin measuring at this device. I noticed that when the On/Off button is pushed the device takes about 10mA from the battery/power supply for about 3sec and then goes back to 0mA again. Do I have problems with the processor? could this be firmware? or could something else be broken?? Thanks Partytubie Last edited by partytubie; 08-26-2006 at 18:24. |

Member: 135968 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | not firmware problem If only firmware problem, (e.g defective bootcore) then you have 23-26 mA. But this value can come from the Adressbus too.... 10mA lets think.... If you have shematics and a oscilloscope or a multimeter to measure... ...may the sticky threat "Signal/part descriptions" help you.... 10 mA can couse from not working dialog or not working rf-chip (26MHz!!) - this results in a not working processor. greets from duisburg@night |
