Start measuring

Dear all,

I have bin measuring at this device.
I noticed that when the On/Off button is pushed the device takes about 10mA from the battery/power supply for about 3sec and then goes back to 0mA again.
Do I have problems with the processor? could this be firmware? or could something else be broken??

Thanks
Partytubie

not firmware problem

If only firmware problem, (e.g defective bootcore) then you have 23-26 mA.
But this value can come from the Adressbus too....

10mA lets think....
If you have shematics and a oscilloscope or a multimeter to measure...
...may the sticky threat "Signal/part descriptions" help you....

10 mA can couse from not working dialog or not working rf-chip (26MHz!!) - this results in a not working processor.
