Exclamation ReAL ExPeRtS help needed ... c55 powering off itself

here's the thing ...

i received one c55 with this sympthom :
phone working ok ...
you play with it ... all ok
u put it on charger ... all ok
disconnect it from charger ..
put it alone ... no touching ..

phone lights goes off in fade ...
and ... from the speaker i hear short BZZZZ
and phone goes off ...

so ...

what i did :
- flashed new SW, full flash etc.
- flashed eeprom and SWUP after, repaired imei
still the same ...

hardware part ...
- changed 26Mhz oscillator
- changed Dialog IC
- canged RAM memory
- changed CPU

what else should I change ?
only one thing left ... Flash RAM ...

there is also one strange thing ...
when making a call ...
i can hear PA working bz-bz-bz ...
like when u put phone close to some radio ...
but call establishing and recieving work normally ..

when left without touching keypad ...
lights go off ... and phone after few secs.

so ...

anybody with some idea ?

maybe RF cpu in the middle part of phone is bad ...
or ...
better idea is that the power management system in phone is bad
but ... what controls it ?
everything is changed already and still the same ..

waiting for ideas

HOLY COW !!!

this is real working solution ...
tnx a lot B0BA !!!

so ... i did a little analysis ...

phone starts up ...
you play with it ... and it dont check RTC state ...
and when you left it alone ....
power management do its job ... power off the display
and after that RTC state is checked ...
and reported as bad ... so the CPU itself swithc it off
because of hardware failure ..

heh ... little OS .... with interrupts ...

cool ...

this is really usefull thread

tnx again b0bA

It's history man.Look here:
http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...ght=c55+switch
"This is the story, exactly!
1.I flash/eeprom/log/map/load map it to V18(same flash ic hardware=software) and same problem!
2.I change RTC & without testing i reball Dialog IC. Now everything OK at 101%."

@rustum:
There is no 32Mhz (Mega Hertz) crystals in siemens phones.

PS: It is just BGA. Resolder ICs and be happy.
