Weird problem wid display

Well, really strange and disturbing thing happend to me today. My sl45i died while i was uploading a ringing tone to it (wid siemens data exchange)... The picture on the phones display froze, refusing to respond to keys... AFter i manged to turn the phone off and turn it on again there was completely nothing on the display cept for backlight... But the phone seemd to work fine i even maged to dial a number... I tried upgrading to 56 and then restoring back to 54 (just hoping that data exchange might have somehow damaged flash or whatever... it kinda maked sense sinse data exchange was the only program that stoped working) Of cource that didnt help, but it didnt hurt either....
So i tried using the phone thru sx45cz software... and it worked fine untill i tried the " turn off pin code" option and then press the turn off button (in the program)... After that the the phone stoped being able to connect to any usual programs (exeptc the flasher etc.) And its not only that, now it turns by itself about 10 seconds after being turned on and nd doesn't seem to respond to any buttons.... And the screen is still completely empty....

So, my question is : does anybody here have any idea wtf might have happend and how to fix it?

Trying to find some shop which would repair it is not really an option here - it would b cheaper to just buy a new one....
