i hope griffin team will post for u cuz i tryed with no luck people just tell u that it works but no 1 will tell exacly step buy step how to do it
i even read the manual but nothing

Of sourse it is working :

Run griffin software

Activate the virtual com port for com 1 and leave it alone

Run the program wich you need and choose com 1

Put the cable in your griffin box of course

And search it with the program: read... etc...and enjoy

Not even in 2000! Maybe it works in XP but who knows... it seems a lot of people have problems with this.....

It work only on XP.
I lose few days with trying to work under 98,but no chance.

BIG BOSS!
I am using xp profetional
ufter runing griffin and selecting the com1 which is free i run NOKIA TOOL by rollis selected auto phone select message box says come3 bussy com2 bussy phone not found check mbus cable
any ideas?

Try with some other SW like Oxygen Phone Manager or something else.

It is virtual com port, so if you already have com1 and com2 on yor PC, set this one to com3.

The virtual com port on griffin box is not intended to be used with nokiatool
or oxegen.it's suitbale for flashing especially siemens phones at 460800 b/s
and if your pc has phisycal ports 1&2 or only 1 for running virtual port use
3 or 4 or 5 if the pc is equiped with a modem or infrared
