BAD ACTIVATION STATUS - Original Dongle

There have been numerous claims in my country that even
original ACTIVATED Griffin boxes suddenly got "BAD ACTIVATION
STATUS" after using Griffin Software version 2.05 for a few
days.

One customer complained that this happend while he was
trying to flash a 7250i for 5 consecutive times. Another customer
was also flashing a certain DCT4 phone when his box suddenly
DE-ACTIVATED itself for an unknown reason.

Upon questioning some customers, they admitted that they failed
to download the Personal Update File from the internet and
thus they used Software 2.05 without a prior uploading of the
required personal update file for version 2.02... But some of
my customers already uploaded the personal update file and
they still got a "BAD ACTIVATION STATUS" after using software
2.05 for a few days...

All of these people used software version 2.05, so I conclude that
there is a very dangerous bug in this version and so as much
as possible avoid using it and get 2.06 instead (I hope 2.06 dont
have this bug).

I hope the Griffin Team will prepare some kind of Explanation
and SOLUTION to the DE-ACTIVATED Original Boxes caused by
release 2.05... If RE-ACTIVATION is possible, then I think that
there should not be any problem at all...

Best Regards,
X-Shadow

Seems this is the Griffin teams way of preventing clones boxes to operate with version 2.06 (great for cheaters) only problem is that it creates "BAD ACTIVATION STATUS" with original boxes too which is not cool for honest customers.

1 more thing to add - by using v2.06, my bios settings for the lpt port went from ecp+epp to spp!!! Don't know why or how, but that's what happened to my box! I did not even bother to think about it until I had no other alternatives left, so, for the heck of it, I just check. And to my surprise, the setting was SPP! The bios has never been altered because I use this pc everyday with Griffin box.

Anyway, my 'BAD ACTIVATION' was solved by resetting the bios and so far, it's working again. For how long, I don't know!

many of my clints also face this problem
i solved it by reupdate the box with the old updates then run each ver of griffin sw (greater than ver 1.98) 2 times coz these ver update the box by them selvese and then boxs return to activation status without sendig the arc file again

i think it is a problem with some pcs that couse this problem

can anyone of griffinteam explain this please ?

Yes I have also ****ed ACTIVATION on my box....before 2.05 all was OK...but now I see only BAD ACTIVATION STATUS. Griffin team sent me many new activation files and repairs...but I always get UPLOAD FAIL 1. They says that my files generated by box are invalid....maybe CPU damaged and so he can't help me.......but before 2.05 all was ok (((

Open your eyes people...
Apparently this is NOT a bug, looks like this was PURPOSELY done to stop cheater clone dealers, and users, but the backlash of
Griffin teams software security is SLOW response to get your original box to function again.

Hello Guys,

The Griffin Team successfully fixed my problem by sending me
a couple of activation files... All you need to do is contact your
official distributor.

Best Regards,
X-Shadow
