Hi mates am facing a problem with setting faid for 9210i with griffin what are the procedures of setting faid with griffin on a 9210i

you can use M-BUS cable + Nokia Tools to seting Faid

FAID it never works in 9210, i suggest using Eeprom Tools with mbus cable that works in logomanager.

Hi,

yes you can use Griffin to FAID calc... but first you must read manual instruction or find info about that on forum... shortly...you must activate 'Net Monitor' menu (that can be done using original 9210 cable or pure MBUS cable with anu software which can do it, for example use Logo Manager). Then you must find correct menu (31 or 32 but i don't remeber at the moment) and change communication from 'Serial' to 'Fbus'. From this point, Griffin will detect your 92xx and will be able to make FAID... AND yes, maybe you can use just MBUS cable and another software, maybe it's faster, but for sure Griffin can make FAID on this phone, but need additional steps

btw, if you will use same MCU version that was in the phone, after flashing no need to make FAID calc.
