Prototype N6230

Hi,

I guess if someone could help me flashing a prototype 6230 with Griffin. It shows codename 'Morpheus' at the back sticker, software v 3.00 (13-02-04), RH-20, GSM P1.1. I want to flash it with the latest firmware.

I use the original Griffin 2.861 and I can't detect the phone at all. Other 6230 work flawlessly.

Thanks

Julio

Rh-20 = 6220 not 6230; this is Rh-12

If you have a Proto phone do not try to sw upgrade, because will end death.
Mem alocation is different for this phones and will need to be full recalibrated (RF+EM) and IMEI restored in Flash... be careful.

Sorry, I mistyped, it showed RH28. Reading the last posts, from people with problems to detect some 6230, someone said to press the power button three times while Griffin detects the phone and it worked fine!

I flashed with the 4.43 version and now it shows RH-12.

Thanks!

Julio

RH-28 is US-Version GSM 850/1800/1900 Nokia 6230b

You can't switch bands by software. So even when it displays RH-12 it's a RH-28.

Thanks for the info! Do you know where to download the RH-28 flash files. i-Phone.org, where I bought Griffin, didn't have it for download, only the RH-12.

Thanks

JC
