Please check the following alert and help publish it to warn others :

Subject: The Truth about Griffin!

I have heard a lot about troubles, people all over the net had got with absolutely regular bought GriffinBoxes to flash handies.
I didn't believe this as long as i have contacted Griffin.org by myself with following problem:

Hi, Mart !
Referring to the problems we know (although you wrote there will not be any problem) I must ask you to a concrete situation:
An european OFFICIAL Reseller from Griffin's homepage (!) delivered a box which was ordered in November 2004. Until today (3 month!!) the box don't
work. The box was advertised and ordered as ACTIVATED and REGISTERED!! And was payed correct before delivering!!
The official reseller didn't send any registrations-code or serial number with the box. After installing, the software showed the "bad activation status" and didn't show any SN !!!
1.) Without the SN it's impossible to log in at Griffin's Team for an official registration to get the special GUL-file, any customer has to care about and
keep the file special save.
2.) Without GUL-File it's not possible to get the box working
Sorry, but this IS the situation around Griffin in Europe!
Please, tell me the solution of this problem!!

This is the truth about Griffin!!

This is the unequivocal evidence, other people in the net wrote the truth. Griffin takes money but after this you get nothing!!
Don't buy this !!

but,... griffiin can do what sarras box (twister, ufs, nbox) cannot, so we still need it.
so, buy it, and pray, that all is ok.
and lots of luck is needed.
i must say I am one of the lucky ones, so far.

buggy...ppl from griffinbox.org are 100 % right.

your support must be made by YOUR resseler. he's the one you made buissnes with right?

and bout griffin and reading serial number do a search in this forum and you fill find out the things u need to solve your problem

yes this is not good why they not say try to contact your reseler or try to help and this is his problem why they don't have make a better protection for his box they are looking only to make fast mony without big investmens

Do you know somthing like JAF - a flasher for Nokia? It coast 99 Euro and can more things then griffin from ****ing griffin team!

Humm...
Which things griffin can do and UFS/Twister can´t?
There was times when griffin was ahead... but since competition grown up... we are always behind... Like on this update. UFS/Twister could flash latest 6230 for more then a month...
So the truth is that griffin is behind others, and probably waiting for other solutions to update griffin later.
This is bad... very bad.

Possible reasons: GT server and new GTI HW platform. They simply have no time to work on Griffin box like one-two years ago.
I think GT server brings more and constant money than standalone box

Anyway, Griffin box is still very powerfull tool, after all these years. Remember Matrix flasher, ie.

Anyway, Griffin box is still very powerfull tool, after all these years. Remember Matrix flasher, ie.

GTI was promissed more then 2 months ago.. GT thought it would "scare" Zulea´s PBB... But GT was "bluffing"... Most already has PBB or other...

About server (log eater), we all see the problems/complains...
Besides I think anyone of us prefer standalone solutions

Among others I use Griffin for a longtime, so I´m already used to wait..

I just hope that GT comes up with some awesome update... soon. Not just some bugfix that we see it´s already needed in this "new" 2.087 version.

the only update that griffin is making are bug fixes and solution for killing the cloned box an to tell us that all box are cloned and need to bye new ones
